So perhaps I suck at this blogging thing. Sorry it’s been a while I've just been dealing with major drama on the home front and though it’s been amusing, it still is somewhat of a pain in the ass. In fact the reason I’m sitting in a random neighborhood at three in the morning writing this is because of that drama…However, I am back now and more productive then ever. As for things that I completed during my hiatus, let’s see, well I replaced all the rubber components of the door and hatch, removed the windows, restored them, restored and oiled all of the window regulators (the thing that moves the window up and down in case you didn’t know), finished the carb rebuild, and also just cleaned the interior a bunch. Now over the past couple weeks nearly all my parts have come in, and at this point the only major thing I’m waiting on is the transmission. I bit the bullet and ordered an Atkins rotary rebuild kit with cryogenically treated seals plus a new koyo race radiator. Unfortunately the Atkins kit comes with Viton oil control rings where I’d much rather have OEM but ah well I’ll just deal. Though that rebuild does add another tedious step, it will pretty much guarantee me a completely new car. What I have for you picture wise are all of the parts that I’ve received not including the radiator and Atkins kit that came today.
Sigh, can't wait
This post was made possible by the “******** home network” for letting me um borrow their wifi (thanks backtrack).
